We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paid Media Planner & Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of our paid media efforts. In this role, you’ll help define the right approach and media mix to meet business needs and connect with our audiences. You’ll set up and deploy campaigns as well as monitor performance and optimize campaign parameters as needed.

  • Strategic Paid Media leadership supporting UWM's brands.
  • Leads strategy, planning and buying across paid media channels
    • Includes Paid Media (Search, Display, OTT), Programmatic, and Traditional Media (TV, Radio, Print and OOH) and other platforms
  • Conducts research to identify target audiences and determine the best platforms for reaching them.
  • Analyzes and interprets data to optimize campaign performance and make recommendations for improvements; reports out on metrics on a bi-weekly and ad-hoc basis.
  • Develops, monitors and manages campaign budgets to ensure they are being used effectively.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including creative, research and third-party vendors to ensure campaign success.
  • Scopes new opportunities, leads initial discovery and delivers point of views on potential new vendors to expand our paid media scope and/or better connect with key audiences.
  • Leads the relationship with recruitment-specific platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Handshake, etc.
  • Executes strategies recommended by our ad fraud security partner to detect and prevent wasted ad spend.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for growth.



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a media planner/buyer, with a focus on performance-based campaigns and/or SEM.
  • Experience in executing paid media campaigns on platforms such as Google, LinkedIn and programmatic buying platforms.
  • Creative knack for constructing effective ad copy.
  • Experience analyzing conversion rates, click-through rates, retention rates, lifetime value (LTV) and other common KPI’s and the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly accurate and accountable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
