Team Lead, Unified Communications

As a Team Lead at UWM, you will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and be responsible for setting the direction for the telecom services team. You will be part of building and supporting an enterprise class Cisco Call Manager environment.  We are looking for the industry’s best people who, on top of unparalleled leadership and communication skills, possess exemplary development abilities.

 

• Mentor and lead engineers and admins
• Manage career progression of team members
• Promote best practices
• Facilitate a collaborative environment
• Ability to translate business requirements to technical deliverables
• Manage relationships between IT and business partners
• Identify and drive process improvements
• Drive to keep projects on track
• Keep senior leaders well informed of telecom system health
• Maintain a 99.5% system uptime
• Lead technical interviews

 

Required:

• 3+ Years of experience as a leader in Telecom
• 10+ Years of experience the IT space
• Experience troubleshooting application or infrastructure issues
• Experience leading a technical team
• Experience with client management (setting expectations, relationship management)
• Experience running a large technical project

Preferred:

• Experience in the administration of Cisco Unified Communication systems, specifically:
• Cisco Unified Communications Manager
• Cisco Unity Connection
• UCCX/E
• Cisco Jabber
• e911 experience
• CCNA Collaboration certification or higher
• Experience with VMware servers
• Experience with Cisco networking
• BS or BA degree in networking, telecommunications or information systems
• Experience with WebEx administration and troubleshooting
