Our UWM Technology team continues to evolve to fill the needs of our internal team and broker partners.  Our technology is a proven differentiator in the marketplace, widening the gap from our competition.  The Product Delivery Team Leader within a cross-functional development team, plays a critical role in the creation, expansion, and adoption of our technologies.

 

This role reports directly to the AVP of Product Delivery.  You will be responsible for guiding, leading, and coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Work Tracking in areas such as: product evolution, backlog and stakeholder management, communication, client, application support (Jira) needs.

 

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Agile and is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve existing conditions and see the big picture while paying attention to details. A self-starter, who is not afraid to drive change to remove barriers from their team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  •  Lead, coach, and develop a group of Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Work Tracking Support team members representing several areas of our business/applications
  • Teach, evaluate, and coach Agile skills, best practices, and expectations
  • Continuously improve our process and practice in Agile framework
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery
  • Review/Demos – provide feedback early and often to the team around project specific changes
  • Ensure that teams are effectively executing against the highest value priorities
  • Assist your team in defining both the What and Why of the product direction.
  • Coordinate to analyze, communicate, and create Key Performance Indicators around the product during vision setting and post-launch
  • Engagement and knowledge of relevant business area(s) to be able to provide ideas, discuss minimum viable product (MVP), and prioritize features with stakeholders
  • Collaborate and communicate with other Product Managers, Product Owners on intersecting products
  • Foster team collaboration and open communication

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Dynamic personality with exceptional communication and a proven track record of team building, problem solving, project management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Prior work experience in Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills throughout product vision and delivery
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, organization, and coaching skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and developers
  • Ability to work 100% on-site in Pontiac, Michigan

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  •   5+ years of project, product, or technical leadership in software development
  •   3 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master and / or Agile Coach
  •   A passion for constant collaboration and bridge-building between teams and ideas
  •   An inquisitive approach to products and processes
