The Threat and Vulnerability Analyst role will report directly to, and support, the Information Security Team Lead, as well as the Chief Information Security Officer.
In this position, the Threat and Vulnerability Analyst will use industry recognized tools to identify, analyze and then prioritize the remediation of hardware and software vulnerabilities. In addition, the Threat and Vulnerability Analyst will work closely with the Security Operations Center to improve detection and response by simulating attack scenarios.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in either application development or network security and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong familiarity with secure application development best practices (eg. OWASP Top 10, SANS SWAT) is highly desired.
