This 200-acre campus includes three commercial office spaces that total over 2M square feet – all beautifully and meticulously maintained and manicured.

 

The Campus Grounds Specialist serves as a liaison between our building facilities and grounds maintenance teams, and/or outside vendors. In this role, you would oversee all efforts related to landscaping, grounds upkeep and improvement. This includes oversight of daily operations, project planning/design/execution, and scheduling logistics for Team Members and outside vendors.

• Coordinating activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of vendors and team members.
• Evaluating and verifying vendor performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
• Maintaining records, preparing reports, and composing correspondence relative to the work requisitions.
• Sourcing and purchasing materials for the vendor to maintain the grounds.
• Maintaining all sidewalks and drives in all seasons.
• Overseeing irrigation of the properties.
• Preparing topographical maps of the facility’s grounds, including irrigation.
• Preparing quantity and cost estimates on proposed landscape projects.
• Making assignments to vendors or working parties in the development and care of extensive and elaborate grounds.
• Scheduling and overseeing the planting and harvesting of the facility’s gardens.

• 2+ years of professional horticultural leadership/management experience in a commercial and/or corporate environment
• Experience working with Vendors
• Knowledge of buildings, facilities, and grounds maintenance
• Project Management experience
• Good computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
