The primary responsibility of a Senior Project Coordinator is to keep the project and all related processes running smoothly. Project teams often require coordination of activities, resources, equipment, and information. Document the needs and decisions that the project team has or makes and ensure that they are followed through.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensuring that the projects are delivered on-time and within scope
  • Tracking and analyzing projects’ performance, expenditures, procurement and report about any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, deficits
  • Assisting in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Collecting management requirements and transform it into the project’s pipeline
  • Working with resource management on resource planning, availability and allocation according to projects timeline.
  • Based on provided scope and requirements translating them into tasks, schedule and assign tasks
  • Working with team on project work to keep project going according to schedule
  • Communicating to the management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Tracking and analyzing project performance, cost performance, schedule and report to the management on the changes project scope, project schedule, and project costs, being able to suggest the improvements to all the above.
  • Reporting and escalating to management as needed
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation
  • Close project and documentation, pass project deliverables to operations.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years experience in project management
  • PMP certified
  • Have some working knowledge in the building or construction trades preferred
  • Be a self-starter with strong independent work ethic
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well with large and diverse teams
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Translate requirements into tasks
  • Experience with task scheduling and resource assignment
  • Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance, cost, verify scope.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
