The Technical Writer III will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and analyzing the needs for technical documentation. The writer will work with multiple software development teams to develop documentation that is relevant to the project and help shape team policies and procedures.
· Develop technical documentation that includes configuration guides, user guides, quick reference guides, release notes, system design documents, and others.
· Update documentation when application enhancements are pushed to production.
· Analyze existing documentation to identify content gaps or inconsistencies.
· Learn a variety of software applications and become self-sufficient at using the software in a user interface environment.
· Disseminate highly technical information and determine document type needed based on that information.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Peer review other writer's work at a high level for language and format.
· Collaborate with a variety of development teams throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), preferably in an agile environment.
· Demonstrate adaptability and forward thinking in the face of technological or organizational change.
