The Engagement Specialist for UZone is a critical component of the Engagement team as they are involved in maintaining, training, and working with updates in regards to UZone.
Your mission is to help prepare and provide comprehensive data to support various
aspects of the UZone and Engagement Team. This will be your main focus, as well as you will be required to monitor UZone and audit system and page content, team metrics
manage permission and account settings, assist in UZone training programs, and projects.
You will help our team members if they have difficulty navigating the UZone system, as well as diagnose technical problems from team members to determine if the issue is a user error, user system issue, or platform issue. You’ll also be required to manage permission and account settings, and work with the platform team if issues arise.
Strategy & Planning
· Using Excel and other data system experience, provide reporting for all parts of the UZone and Engagement Team. This will include UZone, Captains Menu, and other systems.
· Tracking team metrics and goals; compiling reports on UZone and team data for consumption by team members and UWM Leadership. A schedule will be created for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reporting.
· Collaborating with team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements for data and reporting needs.
-Performing audits on UZone menus, News, team pages, and other areas to ensure the system is current with all organizational updates.
· Ensuring smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
· Working as a team to deploy all new applications and enhancements to the system, including a communication and training plan and hitting deadlines set by leadership.
· Conducting research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and support purchasing efforts.
· Coordinating the execution of UZone team goals by breaking down set goals into actionable steps and working with the team on managing deadlines for those steps.
Operational Management
· Being able to review the data needs of the UZone and Engagement team and help to create specific and overall data analysis and needs of the team.
· Gauging the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
· Proposing and creating system design models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to development teams
· Monitoring and testing system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports
· Providing orientation and training to end users on all facets of the system
Must Have Qualification:
· Familiar with different web browsers. (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, IE).
· Familiarity with Excel is preferred.
· Aptitude with data.
· High level of attention to detail
· Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
· Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
· Knowledge regarding applicable data privacy practices and laws
· Excellent project management skills
· Ability to implement workflows and build relationships with different team
· Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication skillset and customer service skills with excellent response times and follow up
· Ability to leave every team member with a good feeling about you every time you interact with them!

· Always readily available to assist all company team members in UZone and UZone training
Nice To Have Qualifications:
· 2-4 years of IT/Website experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Communications related field
· Experience in Microsoft Suite, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team
· Experience with custom software solutions and administrative tools
· Ability to independently learn new system quickly
· Aptitude with data using spreadsheets
· Worked with any software development
· Experience taking something huge and ridiculous and making it real, preferably in an organization with 1000+ team members
