The Vendor Coordinator I will support Vendor Relations procedures.

 

This role requires 100% onsite attendance in our Pontiac office.

• Ensuring compliance with Vendor Relations procedures.

• Managing vendor pricing changes, invoicing issues, and cost reductions.
• Assisting in the negotiation and strategy of vendor contracts.
• Learning the purchase order process and assisting on orders as needed.

• Maintaining UWM’s vendor contract database.
• Performing vendor due diligence and risk analysis.
• Working with Legal team to ensure the legal soundness of the contractual relationships between UWM and its vendors.
• Supporting the Director of Vendor Relations and Senior Vendor Coordinators.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent and relevant job experience.
• Have a commitment to continuous business improvement.
• Be capable of working closely with internal clients and vendors.
• Have effective planning, organizational and project management skills.
• Have the ability to offer feedback and ideas for various projects, and work as facilitator among multiple teams.
• Have a strong attention to detail, and also the ability to shift priority quickly based on business need.
• Have excellent written and communication skills.
• Have the ability to work independently.
• Be self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment.
• Onsite attendance required.
