As a Unified Communications Analyst (UCA) you will work with Telecom, Information Technology, and Business Leadership based on Company goals, Team goals, Production goals and Industry changes to accomplish three primary objectives; 1) Optimize operational efficiency, 2) Align the team to business success criteria, and 3) Maximize business value through realization of enhanced and added capabilities.
Collaborate with the other Product Owners, Business & Technology Leaders on all projects that impact Telecom
Be the sole person responsible for representing the needs of Telecom to Information Technology and the Business for each of their determined initiatives
Engagement and knowledge of other business area(s) to be able to provide project ideas, discuss minimum viable product (MVP), and prioritize with stakeholders
Work with Architecture/Project Lead to determine project size, alternative solutions
Identify minimum viable product value for the end user
Engage other Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to know how other project impacts to your business team
Understand and/or determine the business value for every initiative
Clearly express and deliver the business value, “the why,” behind the project to IT Leadership
Provide IT Leadership with timely information and decisions around project vision
Planning – Set clear priorities to the team and have an understanding of what the team is committing to you
Planning/Vision Setting/Product Backlog Management
Create the Product Vision and Roadmap through assimilation of varied stakeholder needs
Translating Product Vision & Roadmap into backlog items (projects)
Facilitate priority discussions with stakeholders
Create acceptance criteria at the project level
Vet and approve/accept solution provided by Telecom team with consult of leadership
Communication
Promote a clear communication channel between Business Stakeholders and Telecom Team Leadership
Foster a strong working relationship as a foundation for development of technical solutions maximizing business value
Socializing the Product Vision and Roadmap to the Stakeholder Community
Communicating unplanned work impacts to Stakeholders
Communicating minor (non-project) planned work schedules and stakeholder impact
Communicating with Training team on Training needs arising from non-Project Manager managed projects
Initiative Management
Facilitating work completion for larger, non-project initiatives that could have material impact to the business including training requirements, cross-team coordination of significant stakeholder communication
Orchestrating Product Management through coordination across Project-Managed projects
Facilitating production testing of non-project initiatives
Work Breakdown Facilitation – Discussing project breakdowns in terms of MVPs, providing business knowledge to team, collaborating
Review/Demos – provide feedback early and often to the team around project specific changes
Retrospective – Listening to the team, expressing areas for opportunity, celebrating the victories and focusing on improving for next delivery
Effectively communicate different messages to different stakeholders at any given time regarding your initiatives, awareness of roadblocks, milestones, releases etc..
Coordinate the necessary training with the Training Team
New - Aid in defining test plan & strategy in collaboration with technology & business stakeholders
New - Support the testing of multiple ongoing projects concurrently
New - Suggest new testing processes that will help streamline development
New - Ability to manage test assets & guide team to ensure success criteria is met and defects are dispositioned
