UWM's 12-week internship program offers an immersive experience with around 200 interns, job shadowing, access to senior leaders, and extensive networking opportunities. The Corporate Training and Leadership Development teams at UWM are dedicated to nurturing the growth and advancement of employees at all levels within the organization. These teams play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that UWM remains at the forefront of the mortgage industry. Key functions include but are not limited to training programs, leadership development, performance enhancement, learning resources, and innovation.

The Corporate Training team at UWM is dedicated to enhancing employee skills and knowledge through comprehensive training programs that drive personal and professional growth.

 

• Learn adult learning theory
• Help faciliate team building activities and escape rooms
• Learn how to build training materials 
• Build job aids, infographics, and strategic communication plans for the team
• Shadow and provide feedback on trainings 
• Develop a training for UWM 
• Shadow and provide feedback on trainings 

• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 2027 or 2028 (current junior/senior status)
• The ability to work Monday through Friday, 40-hours a week, fully on-site in Pontiac, MI from May 17th - August 6th
• An openness to learning, willingness to be coached, and ability to be flexible in our every-changing industry
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
