The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for assisting with and dispositioning requests of loans, specifically the Withdrawal requests and Reinstatement requests. The Compliance Specialist will also be responsible for assisting with various daily and weekly reports, such as the Incomplete files report. The Compliance Specialist will be primarily focus on reviewing and dispositioning loans in accordance with established policies and procedures. This team member will be responsible for effectively communicating any potential concerns to leadership and follow up as necessary to ensure these are addressed promptly. Attention to detail, and an understanding of the loan process are necessary for success in this position.


  • Reviewing request submitted and determining the appropriate action to take
  • Communicating with clients and internal team members on the action taken on requests
  • Reviewing reports and sending out proper communication regarding next steps
  • Proposing solutions, and occasionally working with the implementation team to remediate issues and test implementations
  • Diligently following prescribed processes and documenting file records in an efficient and effective manner 
  • Using your experience to identify opportunities to improve processes


  • At least 9 months Mortgage experience is required
  • Familiarity and experience with HMDA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Organized individual that is capable of managing various projects simultaneously 
  • Communicates effectively verbally and non-verbally, and possess strong technical skills
  • Actively seeks out solutions and escalates potential issues to leadership
  • Demonstrated advanced use of MS Office software features and techniques 
  • Onsite attendance is required
