Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

The Senior Accountant will be part the Finance department that is responsible for performing accounting functions related to Financial Compliance, such as external financial reporting, month-end accounting and consolidation, accounting policy, technical accounting research, and implementation of new accounting standards.


  • Lead preparation/consolidation of financials in compliance with US GAAP
  • Prepare month-end journal entries to ensure proper consolidation
  • Assist with implementation of new accounting standards
  • Execute monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting functions, including but not limited to journal entries, account reconciliations, policy writing, and technical accounting discussion papers
  • Financial statement preparation and variance analysis
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of information included in earnings releases, annual report, Form 10-K, Proxy Statement, Form 10-Q, Form 8-K and other SEC filings
  • Support other needs of the department as needed, e.g. SOX controls


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • CPA Certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP required
  • Two to four years of Public accounting (“Big 4” preferred) experience and SEC experience required
  • Must have strong analytical (quantitative as well as qualitative) skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize and deliver quality work
  • Ability to critically think through issues as they arise and propose possible solutions
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting/presenting to senior-level management
  • Ability to solve practical problems and assess existing processes for improvements
  • Someone who is a Team Player, personable, outgoing, and not afraid to jump into the details
