At United Wholesale Mortgage, Business Analysts on our Application Support team help in all stages of application development. In this position, you will get to collaborate with dozens of other technical teams in every area of the business. Developing long-term meaningful relationships is easy since we all work on-site, in an open environment on one campus; just swing by someone’s desk or grab a coffee at our on-campus Starbucks. We work in a fast-paced, agile environment where code is deployed frequently, and we’re looking for candidates with a passion for execution to join our team at the most innovative and disruptive company in the fintech space.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Investigating and diagnosing incidents to restore a failed IT service as quickly as possible
  • Developing relationships with team members throughout IT and others areas of the business
  • Creating knowledge business documentation for troubleshooting
  • Responding to customer support requests and collaborating with teammates as needed
  • Suggesting new processes to streamline development
  • Balancing multiple projects and incidents at the same time in a fast paced environment
  • Communicating complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
  • Assisting with Testing and creation of Test strategy

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with incident management, requirements gathering and creating documentation
  • Experience communicating effectively with all levels of internal leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team in a fast paced environment
  • On-site attendance
  • Able to work rotating shift between 8AM-8PM (e.g. 8-5 or 11-8)

Nice To Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile software development process
  • SQL knowledge - understand how to look up data / create joins
  • Project management experience
  • BS or BA degree in Business, Communications or IT
