Graphic Design Summer Internship 2023

As a Graphic Design Summer Team Member, you will play an important role working alongside the Creative Marketing Team. Throughout the summer, you’ll have the ability to build a portfolio of projects ranging from, but not limited to: print media, social graphics, billboards, recruitment campaigns, etc. You'll be exposed to all areas of our in-house Marketing team with the ability to shadow & work alongside our designers, videographers, content creators, specialists, and more! The summer will also include a campaign that you'll work on with other Summer Team Members across Marketing.  

• Assist in designing the visual ‘look and feel’ of our existing campaigns on multiple applications including, but not limited to: banner ads, social posts, infographics, web, emails, posters, newsletters, etc.
• Create compelling design and advertising solutions within a growing internal creative department
• Work closely with other areas of the Marketing Team for consistency of branding and messaging
• Collaborate with the creative team for content development and to ensure a high-quality user experience
• Make connections with students from other schools
• Develop and present business initiatives to company leaders
• Apply your skills and talents to improving processes and workflow
• Share ideas, offer suggestions and make an impact
• Participate in fun off-site team-building activities 

• Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in 2023 or 2024 (current Junior/Senior status)
• Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising/Public Relations or Communications degree preferred
• The ability to work full time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from May 2023 through August 2023, on campus in Pontiac, Michigan
• An openness to learning, willingness to be coached and ability to be flexible in an ever-changing industry
• The desire to thrive in a team environment
