The Java Develoer is a key resource in providing technical leadership and support on all the stages of Data Platform administration, development, and architecture implementation. We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member to engage and collaborate with leaders and team members from teams across our enterprise (including Server, Infrastructure, dozens of Development teams, and more), as we continue our transformation from a platform-based to a solution-based shop. This team member will be an impactful voice in shaping our Data Platform direction, strategy, and execution at the most innovative and disruptive company in the fintech space.


  • Installation, configuration, and monitoring of Kafka, Redis and NoSql platforms critical to our business needs.
  • Provide solutions and guidance to development teams to ensure our systems are sound.
  • Developing applications integrations on an as needed basis.
  • Resolve performance issues using all available tools and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Sharing your expertise of Data Management philosophies and applying them to existing and to-be architectures.
  • Communicate to business stakeholders, technical teams and leadership in a consistent manner making complex technical issues and solutions clear, simple, and understandable.


Must Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in an enterprise-level infrastructure environment creating, designing and managing highly available Data Platform solutions
  • Experience with Java or other object-oriented languages. Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, and/or NoSQL solutions preferred.
  • Motivated, collaborative with experience multi-tasking on a variety of initiatives on different timelines.
  • Provide occasional after-hours support when necessary
  • Computer-related degree or equivalent experience

 Nice To Have Qualifications:

  • Ansible and/or Jenkins experience
  • Familiarity with Confluent Kafka design and architecture
  • Jira work/project tracking
  • Experience with Linux and Kubernetes
