Building Operations Summer Internship 2023

As a Building Operations Summer Team Member, you will play an important role working alongisde our team of Building Engineers in their day-to-day operations. Throughout the summer, you'll work on projects that focus on space planning, climate control, HVAC systems, project management and more! You'll have exposure to all areas of our Building Operations, Facilities and Architecture teams to see how we cross-collaborate & to find what you're passionte about. 

• Help ensure all mechanical and eletrical equipment is properly installed and maintained 
• Attend daily huddles with team members to hear and provide updates both team and company-wide
• Assist our Building Operations and Facilities team
• Work with our teams to develop plans for campus and building expansion
• Make connections with students from other schools
• Develop and present business initiatives to company leaders
• Apply your skills and talents to improving processes and workflow
• Share ideas, offer suggestions and make an impact
• Participate in fun off-site team-building activities
• Play an important role in giving back to the community with a charity project that you help shape and execute
• Have the opportunity to apply for a paid position as one of our UWM Campus Ambassadors

• Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in 2023 or 2024 (current Junior/Senior status)
• The ability to work full time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, from May 2023 through August 2023, on campus in Pontiac, Michigan
• An openness to learning, willingness to be coached and ability to be flexible in an ever-changing industry
• The desire to thrive in a team environment

• On-site attendance required
