As the lead Sitecore developer, you will work with the Digital Innovation team as well as other internal teams to create polished, efficient, standards compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across a wide range of web sites and applications. He/she will help manage and maintain Sitecore XP environment to create dynamic, personalized visitor experiences.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Oversee effort to implement overall architecture approach for all layers of solution, ensuring a holistic design for the web application
  • Play a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the web or internet applications
  • You will be responsible for the development using Sitecore .Net CMS backend
  • Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code
  • Design new user-facing features that are responsive and mobile-friendly
  • PSD to responsive XHTML5/CSS3
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability via testing and debugging
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Analysts and QA in an Agile environment to ensure quality, security, and maintenance of applications, and to ensure code meets development standards and guidelines
  • Remain up to date with industry trends and technologies and be able to apply this knowledge to project work
  • Accurately convert design mock-ups into working interfaces across multiple devices and browsers
  • Collaborate with project owners and technical leads to translate business and user requirements into usable web applications
  • Ability to jump between frontend and backend work

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Must Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 1-2 years of experience developing large web sites and web applications
  • Sitecore XP and SXA required
  • 3+ years of Sitecore 9+ experience
  • 2+ years’ experience developing rich internet applications using HTML/CSS3/JavaScript
  • Strong experience with search and indexing technologies, preferably Coveo for Sitecore and Solr
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Sitecore Content Hub knowledge a plus
  • Ability to work within a team environment where design and production are a collaborative effort
  • Passion and self-drive for staying up to date with industry trends and applying innovative best practices

  • Intuitive. You're someone with that uncanny ability to always think one step ahead and see where the world is headed

Nice to Have Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with database design
  • Previous experience with Azure Cloud
  • Experience in the mortgage industry
  • Experience in an agile environment
