The Compliance Specialist I will be a member of the Compliance team, responsible for following defined procedures to complete daily reviews of due diligence testing findings. This will involve working with our Secondary and Risk teams to understand what findings are being presented by due diligence firms and then obtaining documentation or any other missing information to help remediate these findings. Due to the nature of due diligence reviews, there is sometimes slower periods. During these times, this team member will help answer questions that come to the Compliance Helpbox as well as assist with control testing.
Our Deputy General Counsel will supporting our business with all regulatory and legal matters. They will be responsible for overseeing all employment related cases as well as commercial and working with UWM Executives on immigration and human resource matters.
The Travel Coordinator will arrange travel for internal and external business clients by determining their travel requirements, while considering applicable schedules and costs. He/she will also be responsible for maintaining business travel records and will be expected to perform various administrative functions for the Vendor Relations team.
The Director of Regulatory Affairs will manage the regulatory interaction prior to, during and after regulatory examinations. The Director of Regulatory Affairs is also a key point of contact with regulators through all phases of the examination process, from initial notification through remediation of any identified opportunities. This position is responsible to execute and effectively manages regulatory examinations in a manner that helps maintain a positive and productive relationship with all of the state and federal regulators with whom UWM interacts. These regulators include the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as well as regulatory agencies within each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The individual will work with leadership throughout the company to prepare for upcoming examinations; coordinate examination requests in a timely manner to include submission of requests to business and support units, gathering documentation, organizing management responses, scheduling and leading meetings and effectively managing examination logistics. This position is also responsible to communicate any/all potential findings and other regulatory risks as needed, to leadership on a timely basis.
The Legal Assistant will provide general administrative support for the Legal, Compliance and Vendor Relations teams. This may include typing, filing, scheduling, travel booking, coordination of meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies, coordinating direct mailing, and working on special projects.
