Incidents we are unable to resolve within 10 minutes we will detail the incidents and escalate it up to the appropriate teams.

Our Instructional Designers are responsible for progression of team members in IT by creating training material to aid in facilitation and learning.  We are looking for someone who can dig deep with business leaders to determine training needs then create a plan to accomplish those training needs.  The Instructional Designer will be expected to create and maintain training material and process documentation through the use of programs within the Microsoft suite such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. The designer we’re looking for should communicate at a very high level and possess advanced writing and computer skills.

At UWM, a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is responsible for providing cutting edge monitoring solutions for our applications and infrastructure, support on outages, reduction of our mean time to resolution and consulting with Architects and Developers on the development of stable, healthy applications and infrastructure. An ideal SRE is uptime-focused, capable of building out monitoring, and can support our teams in every stage of the development lifecycle, from analysis and design to developing, testing, release and maintenance while adhering to current System Development Methodology (SDM) processes. The Data Platform Engineer is a key resource in providing technical leadership and support on all the stages of Data Platform development, architecture implementation and enhancement.

The Operations Administrator will monitor the performance and integrity of production applications and infrastructure. This role will assist in production issues with the appropriate teams or leaders, and assist in troubleshooting and determining root cause. Attention to detail is important as identifying trends in our monitoring tools and reporting allows the team to remain proactive. This position requires an uptime focused, technical team member. This team member must have a good understanding of the relationships between infrastructure and application, and the ability to analyze technical issues in all layers of our environment.

The Network Team Lead provides direction, guidance and instruction for a team of Network Engineers & Administrators.  The Network Team Lead will work with internal and external clients to maintain, analyze, and resolve technical issues of Network Infrastructure & related supporting software platforms.  This position requires a highly technical person that has a deep understanding of Cisco Networking technologies, good operational experience and outstanding customer relations skills.

They will provide general emergency care for team members and respond to medical emergencies.  The Security Officer will also interview witnesses or victims to prepare case reports and testify in court if necessary.

This EMT Security Specialist will use various telecommunications devices to call for assistance from fire fighters, police forces, and emergency medical services. They will provide general emergency care for team members and respond to medical emergencies. The EMT Security Specialist will also interview witnesses or victims to prepare case reports and testify in court if necessary. This position requires on-site attendance at our headquarters in Pontiac, MI.
