To be a leader in any industry, you need to have a well-trained team. At UWM, the nation's number one overall lender, that's where you come in! You’ll be part of the Corporate Training Team that’s responsible for team member onboarding, escape rooms, team building activities, technical, soft skill, and continuous improvement courses. You will also be responsible for helping to spearhead Training Team events such as Captains Camp, P5 (continuous improvement training), and Kids Day. We’re looking for a trainer who is passionate about training, and developing our team members, UWM’s role in the lending process, our organization, and what sets us apart from our competition. You’ll be responsible for participating in the course’s design, development, facilitation, and maintenance of course materials directly relating to the above-mentioned areas. The focus for this role will be on facilitating training to the areas of the organization we support, identifying additional training needs, working closely with Training Coordinators and Instructional Designers regarding training materials and resources, as well as working closely with those areas of the business we support.

Who trains Training Team Members? As a Training Coach at UWM, you do. Your primary responsibility will be to coach Training Team Members on facilitation skills and instructional design best practices that meet our UWM standards as well as proven educational theories. You will also design and deliver training to our Training Team Members who train classes and design curriculum for our team members (whew, say that fast three times!). You will provide one-on-one coaching, as well as provide support and guidance on instructional design methods, training delivery, corporate materials, and processes for business-specific training teams. You will evaluate and report successes and opportunities for improvements to leadership. Our Training team is one of the fastest growing areas within UWM, which houses some of our most talented team members. Our Instructional Designer will partner with teams throughout the supported areas to provide necessary trainings or materials to team members. We need a team member who can dig deep with business leaders to determine training needs then create a plan to accomplish those training needs. The Instructional Designer will be expected to create and maintain training material and process documentation, through the use of our internal programs. The designer we’re looking for should communicate at a high level and possess writing and computer skills.
